“Along the Way”

This scenic landscape was created from a photograph taken on our way home from Taos, NM. We decided to stop along the way for some photographs. When we got out of the car and turned around this is the view we saw. It was unexpected, so I decided to capture some of the beauty on canvas. This painting was an ambitious endeavor, and I wasn’t sure if the outcome would be as I desired. Upon completion I am very happy with the result.
