“Desert Nocturne”

The yucca plant is the New Mexico state flower, and in the spring it brings forth thick clusters of white flowers. These flowering plants are so beautiful and diverse. I wanted to capture them in a whimsical way with fun colors and excitement. You can see below a glimpse into my process for this painting.
