“The Enchanting Protector”

I am inspired by the beauty, diversity, and the uses of the yucca plants of New Mexico. The leaves of this plant have been used for baskets, shoes, shelter and protective clothing. The yucca flowers are edible and are very tasty, and the roots have been used to make a mild soap. The blooms emit a sweet smell to attract their pollinators for which it has a special relationship. This is why I call it “The Enchanting Protector”. You can see below a glimpse into my process.
