The diversity of flora in the beautiful state of New Mexico is enough inspiration for me to try and capture some of its beauty on canvas. The yucca plant blooms annually, and the flowers are edible! These plants are drought tolerant and very hardy! I am mesmerized by these plants, and they are one of my favorite things to paint.
